THE

EXPERIENCE

proposal

The
experience

You knew the first time you met that this would be forever. You took over a year to think about creative proposal ideas. You bought an engagement ring with a trusted jeweler for thousands of dollars, took the time to get it insured, and even took the time to pick out a suit and shoes to ask the question the one question that will change your life. So why not ensure the same care for your proposal photographer?

The proposal experience was created at a fraction of the cost of the proposal ring!

Tips for planning a proposal

Try to give yourself plenty of time to plan your engagement proposal. Many popular locations, like National Parks and Monuments, require permits for photography on their grounds. Permit processes can take up to 2-3 weeks

Many vineyards, manor houses, plantations and wedding venues in and around the Washington DC area could be potential proposal spots.
Keep in mind that many of these venues also have weddings and other private events. Make sure to ask for their availability early

If you are planning on an outdoor proposal idea, try to time it during the Golden Hour! This is one hour before sunset or one hour after sunrise.
This time of the day makes for incredibly romantic and dreamy images! Check to see if Daylight Savings will affect timing.

Once you have your date, time, and location figured out, next is to find the exact spot where you'll pop the question! There is often many variables to consider, including how close you may be to crowds, background, and especially lighting.

Greg

Ben and Sophia are simply amazing! They not only captured incredible pictures of my surprise proposal, but they also helped me with all of the details I would have never thought of. From working with the winery on my behalf and having the surprise picnic already set up for when we arrived to helping me time the proposal so the sun was just right to capture beautiful pictures, they thought of everything. I can't recommend them enough!!

"We absolutely loved the photos! Thank you so much!!!! Thank you for all of your help. We're so excited to share with family and friends."
